Vehicle Exhaust
Exhaust extraction equipment was designed
around the need to protect workers from the detrimental health
effects of inhaling vehicle exhaust fumes and, more specifically,
diesel exhaust fumes while they are on the job.
Generally there are two types of extraction needs:
EMERGENCY
RESPONSE VEHICLES, FIRE DEPARTMENTS, EMS, AMBULANCE CORPS:
This is a complete
exhaust system for vehicles with permanent parking spaces–a
simple, dependable
answer to the need for fume removal in facilities with emergency response vehicles. Its
unique electromagnet coupling guarantees dependable performance, with automatic
disconnection when the vehicle exits. It effectively captures and removes 100% of the
exhaust fume. With the Auto-Start feature, it is the most technically advanced and user
friendly system on the market. With over 1,000 systems in use in New York and New Jersey,
it is the overwhelming preferred choice of the Emergency Response community.
MAINTENANCE & REPAIR FACILITIES:
These systems include exhaust hose reels, simple hose drops, and exhaust rails. The installation of these units
from the ceiling, wall, or boom arm allows the worker to connect the exhaust hose directly
to the tailpipe. A variety of nozzles and hoses allow connection to any vehicle. Special
systems can be made for high temperature applications such as dyno testers.
