E-Pak

A compact high vacuum unit designed for a large selection of contaminants. The E-PAK is semi-portable or stationary.

These are complete central vacuum units. Each unit is equipped with filters, starter, acoustic enclosure, automatic filter cleaning, as well as automatic start/stop feature. Ideal for cleaning, grinding/sanding/cutting dust extraction, and welding fume extraction.

 

E-PAK Filter Principle

The filter concept in E-PAK is unique as it combines high filter efficiency with long life time. The concept works as follows: when the unit is in use, dust and particles are transported through the pipes or hoses into the center inlet where the heavier particles are separated and fall into the collection bin. Finer particles follow the air stream upwards and are separated on the coated surface of the filter socks.

A filter cleaning valve disc is placed on top of the dust collector, acting on the clean side of the filters. Due to the vacuum in the system, a short and powerful reversed air pulse will take place when the valve disc is automatically opened by means of a pneumatic cylinder. The air will flow backwards through the filters, and efficiently clean the dust off the filter surface. Reversed Flow cleaning (RF) is available as an option. Here, the full flow of the vacuum source is used,in addition to the above air pulse, to clean half the filters while the remainder is in normal operation. Next wave of filter cleaning toggles a relay so that the other half is cleaned. Type RF filter cleaning is suitable when the system is in hard constant use.
